Community profile privacy rules

If we introduce a community, joining will be optional. A community profile will be separate from your private account and diary. These are the rules planned for that feature, not a description of sharing available today.

What other community members would see

  • A nickname you choose for the community, not your real name or your sign-in name.
  • A non-identifying avatar you choose for the community, not a photo copied from your account or Google profile.
  • Only community posts and comments you deliberately choose to publish, with the nickname attached.

What would stay private

  • Your email address, real name, sign-in details, and billing information.
  • Your personal meal and symptom entries, photos, notes, and timestamps.
  • Your Ask AI questions, answers, personal reports, and patterns drawn from your diary.
  • Your private account activity, including when or how often you log entries.

No diary entries or account details will automatically become community content. We will not use an email address, real name, or private account display name as a public nickname. Community participation will not require sharing health details. Avoid putting identifying or private information in anything you choose to publish; other people may copy public content.

Before any community feature launches, we will update this policy with its actual visibility, moderation, and deletion choices. This page does not enable sharing or add community controls.

For how your account and diary are handled now, read our Privacy Policy.
