Your food and symptom diary is personal. This policy explains how FoodTrigger AI handles your information today. Community rules are described in a separate planned policy; no community sharing is enabled by either page.
Today: account and diary information
For an account, we keep your sign-in email and account profile information, such as a display name or avatar. We save the meals, ingredients, meal photos, timestamps, symptoms, and notes you enter, along with any mood, intensity, stool, sleep, or stress details you choose to record. These records support your diary, personal pattern summaries, and printable reports—not a diagnosis.
Guest meals, check-ins, and photos are kept in that browser’s local storage. When you sign in, the app attempts to move guest entries into your account. Clearing browser data can remove guest entries. Ask AI conversation history is also saved locally in the browser, under your account, rather than synced as a conversation archive across devices. Use care on a shared device.
Today: AI and other services
Optional meal scanning sends your meal image through Lovable’s AI service to suggest ingredients and possible allergens. Ask AI sends your question, conversation context, and your meals and check-ins from the last 60 days, including notes, to an AI service to answer questions about your entries. Avoid putting information in a question or photo that you don’t want processed this way.
Lovable Cloud supports account sign-in, database storage, and meal-photo storage. Our email service uses your account email for account messages and enabled reminders; reminder settings include your chosen time and time zone. Stripe handles membership checkout and billing, using account and subscription information. These services have their own data-handling rules. We do not promise zero provider retention or that providers never use data for model training.
We do not sell your personal diary data or share it with advertisers. The private marketing-content connection returns approved public copy, not member accounts, diary entries, or Ask AI conversations. Professional contacts saved in the Founder Hub are separate from member diary records.
Today: access and app activity
Other members do not have a public view of your email, account profile, or diary. Account access controls separate members’ records. Authorized administrators can see sign-up information, including email and confirmation status, meal and check-in counts, last activity, and reminder status. This is not the same as a public profile.
The app records some usage information, such as resource downloads and that an Ask AI request occurred. That Ask AI activity record does not include the question or answer. Website traffic measurement is separate from diary records. Authorized service access may be needed to operate or support the app, so we do not claim that staff or service providers can never access stored information.
Community rules are separate and planned
Community profiles are not currently available. Our separate planned Community Privacy Policy explains the intended visibility rules, including keeping email, real names, and personal diary entries private. It does not change current data handling or enable sharing.
Today: exports and deletion
If you have a free account:
- Use “Export my data” in Settings to download meals and check-ins.
- Use the report page to print or save a personal report. Files you save or share are outside the app’s access controls.
- Delete individual meals or check-ins with the diary controls — open the entry and choose delete.
- Use “Delete account” in Settings to start removal of your account, profile, meals, and check-ins.
If you’re using guest mode:
- Guest entries are saved only in this browser on your device — we do not store them on our servers.
- Delete a guest meal or check-in the same way, with the diary controls.
- When you create a free account, your guest entries move into that account and the copies kept in this browser are removed.
- To erase guest entries without signing up, clear this site’s data in your browser settings. That removes guest meals, check-ins, and local Ask AI history from this device.
Account deletion is not a promise that every copy disappears immediately. The current deletion process does not explicitly clear uploaded photo files or locally saved Ask AI history. Browser storage, service records, billing records, and backups may need separate handling. Clear this site’s browser data to remove locally saved information, and contact us about remaining records or a deletion request. We do not specify a verified retention period for every service or backup.
Security and health information
We use account sign-in and record-level access controls to help protect private records. No system is perfectly secure. FoodTrigger AI supports personal pattern tracking and conversations with a professional; it does not provide medical advice or diagnosis, and we do not claim HIPAA compliance or medical-grade protection.
